from the candidate

“I am running to restore health to our communities. I want to help make Hawaiʻi better for our current and future generations. To do this, we must recover well from the COVID-19 pandemic and the Lahaina fires and build a future where we can bring our local families home. I am deeply grateful to our communities which fed me, raised me, and sent me far from home to gain knowledge and professional skillsets. I am also grateful to the previous generations that sacrificed, battled, and survived so that all of us could arrive at this moment in our history. I believe it is now my kuleana to use my skills and experience to work for the betterment all who call Hawai‘i home.”
